Please join us at the Oxford Networks data center in Brunswick, ME (former Naval Air Station) on December 10th for a presentation by Ken Smith, Senior Information Security Architect with K logix.
Ken will present "Lets all stop wasting time and money! Finding Your Information Security Compass."
In this talk Ken will discuss how many organizations are wasting valuable time and resources by running their information security program and prioritizing initiatives based on fear or based solely on what some external standard says. Ken will share some great examples of waste and screwed up priorities. He will discuss the best way to put a stop to the madness and how you can find your compass to help guide you on your journey to appropriately managing risk.
Pizza and soft drinks will be available at 5:30, with the meeting running from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Please RSVP so that we have enough refreshments available:

From Portland, Maine area take Interstate 295 North
• I-295 Exit 28 to US Route 1
• Follow signs to US Route 1 North
• Take the Cooks Corner Exit off Maine Route 1
• Turn right towards Brunswick on the Bath Road
• Proceed to the second traffic light and turn left into Brunswick Landing (Fitch Avenue) and proceed
through the gate (gate not guarded)
• Follow Fitch Avenue to Pegasus Ave and turn left (You will see a P-3 Aircraft on Display on your right as you turn)
• Follow Pegasus Avenue and continue straight through the first four-way intersection
• Turn left into The Data Center’s South Gate
